I'm delighted and very honoured to have been chosen to be part of Lan Ngyuen's team at LFW and will be heading the middle of September. It is going to be amazing and is my 2nd time at LFW -it is one of the most amazing things for a hair/makeup artist to experience and can only be described as very organised chaos and drama! It's fantastic to be one very small cog in a large wheel and to see the designer's collections and work with other artists and Toni & Guy etc is wonderful. I will be updating on this very soon. Another great thing is I get to see my hair/makeup artist buddy Serena Locatelli who is based in London. http://www.serenalocatelli.com/

SMALLPETITKLEIN DANCE COMPANY
In July, I was recommended to the Internationally-renowned 'Smallpetitklein' Dance Company by Photographer/Film maker Dylan Drummond. http://www.dundee.com/dylan-drummond/work/photography-dylan-drummond-son-sea.html
I was commisioned to create hair and makeup for the 4 dancers who are appearing in their production of 'Carmen' and I used hairpieces and strong makeup to complement the production. I also did photographic makeup for the team's headshots which are to be used to promote the organisation. The day was fun and energetic and was photographed and filmed by Dylan. Myself and hair assistant Laura Baird arrived the evening before and stayed in one of the villas near Woodend Barn, Banchory as we had an early start.

'PULSE' magazine-Sep Edition
I am proud to say that I was involved in my first, published magazine fashion shoot spread which was published in September's edition of 'Pulse' and is produced by the 'Scotsman' newspaper and distributed throughout Edinburgh. Lindsey Johnston from the magazine was there too and oversaw proceedings.
The shoot took place behind Waverley train station on a roof terrace that was also used in the Jamie Bell film 'Hallam Foe'. It was a great day creating hair and makeup for Charlotte Turner (Model Team) and I was also working with photgrapher:Philip Stanley Dickson http://www.psdphotography.com/ and stylist Sarah Viera Da Cruz http://www.sarahdacruz.com/ and Alice Myers who assisted Philip. I decided to go for a strong asexual quiff and on trend autumn makeup using mainly MAC products. We had fun working with over £20,000 worth of designer clothes, shoes and bags, including brands such as D &G. Prada, Roland Mouret, Stella McCartney,Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo. Here are some images from the 6 page spread... pictures copyright to Philip Stanley Dickson.

June/July
Marks & Spencers -I was hired to provide hair and makeup for models which are featured on the Marks & Spencer's website. The images were used to promote M&S energy provision and the images were shot in a studio in Perth. They can be viewed on M&S's national site.
'Falling out' Film- produced by 'Flyboy Films' and directed by Matt Cameron and filmed by Ian Forbes featuring Hannah Stanbridge, Anthony Kelly and Adam MacNamara. I provided hair and makeup and Christine Close created the amazing SFX on one of the characters. It was filmed in Dundee and St Andrews and can currently be viewed at the Duncan of Jordanstone's 'Master's Show: see link below: http://artanddesign.dundee.ac.uk/mastersshow11/
As every month I was also extremely busy with lots of weddings all over Scotland.
Artist/Filmaker Ronnie Forbes film -
I was asked to provide hair and makeup for Ronnie's film which was filmed in 'Tin Roof' studios in Dundee. The concept was philosophers and I created 'cartoon-like' versions of Plato, Descartes and Hume. It was fun to use false wigs, beards and moustaches.
The film is currently being edited but will be publicly available in an art gallery soon.

MAY/JUNE
In May and June I was very busy with Grad and 6th year leaving balls in Carnoustie, Dundee and St Andrews.
Dundee Carers Centre -I was invited to provide makeovers for selfless carers in the community; the event was held at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee and was very well-attended and other services ranged from alternative therapies to craft-making.
